Depositing Your Money

At Country First we make it simple for you to save your money, offering you a number of options for depositing your money.

Choose from up-to-date electronic methods that are no-fuss, convenient and instantaneous, or drop into one of our branches for personal, friendly customer service.

Direct Credit

An easy option for depositing funds into your Country First account is to use the Direct Credit system.
Simply quote our BSB (802 097) and your member number, and you can arrange for funds to be directly credited into your account. Direct Credit can be used to make payments such as:

  • Salary
  • Pension/allowance
  • Tax refund

Providing this information to the payee will allow them to make a payment in this fashion.

Note: when providing information on your membership, always adopt sensible security practices. Learn more about good online security practices.

Mail Deposits

Cheques can be mailed to any of our branches for depositing to your account.
Please note that cheques require a 3 day clearance before you are able to access the funds.

Depositing at NAB Branches

Conveniently located near one of Country First’s branches, you can make a deposit into your Country First account at any National Australia Bank branch.

Just request a specially-encoded deposit book from us, and once you've made your deposit at the NAB, the funds will generally be credited to your account the next business day.
