Country First Credit Union has implemented a Financial Literacy Program to coincide with our sponsorship package with Griffith Public School.

For several weeks over the last term, a member of staff has been conducting a power point presentation, teaching the kids the basics of money. Students have been learning about different forms of money, wants & needs, savings, peer pressure and income.

The Financial Literacy Program is in addition to the $2,000 that the Credit Union has pledged to the school this year, to assist with the purchase of uniforms.

The Credit Union also offers an incentive in the form of commission; $75 for each approved housing loan and $50 for each approved personal loan, to any new member who mentions an association with Griffith Public School.
