That is why CGU's Caravan Insurance policy has been designed to cover you against loss or damage to the caravan, annexe and its contents from an accident, as well as theft.

With CGU's Caravan Insurance you can choose the type of cover you need to suit your circumstances. You can cover your caravan while touring Australia or while it is permanently on-site!

Features include:

• New caravan replacement
  If your new caravan is so badly damaged and is considered a total loss within 12 months of manufacture, CGU will replace it with another new caravan of the same make and model, as long as it was adequately insured.
• $10 million liability cover
  Your policy automatically includes $10 million liability cover should someone else's property be damaged by your caravan. We will also pay legal costs awarded against you as a result of an accident.
• No Claim Bonus of up to 20%
  After one year of claims free insurance, you will be rewarded with a 10% discount off your premium, and after a second claims free year, you will receive a 20% discount!

CGU's Caravan Insurance cover additional features include:

• If you cannot use your caravan after it is damaged in an accident, CGU will pay for alternative accommodation up to $100 per day, for up to five days.
  
• You are covered for the cost of having your caravan towed to the nearest repairer after an accident.
  
• You are also covered for burnt out electrical motors (that are 10 years old or less) which form part of your caravan.
  
• You are insured even when you lend your caravan to a friend or relative.
  
• If your caravan is damaged in an accident more than 100 kilometres from your home, we will pay up to $500 to have your caravan returned to your home.
