At Country First Credit Union we don’t like charging our members fees, but we do need to recoup some of our costs. Our current fees and charges are based on a user pays system that offers rebates of up to $240.00 per year for supporting members.
Of course, we understand that some Country First Credit Union members still conduct much of their banking when other financial institutions and so we’re keen to win back, this business. Our fee rebate system is one way we hope to do that.
We are also keen to encourage all members to reduce the cost of their banking even when it’s not possible for them to increase their level of banking with Country First Credit Union.
Member Rewards and Rebates

Use EFTPOS to make cash withdrawals
If you're using EFTPOS to pay for goods, you can also withdraw cash at the same time. This means you pay only for one transaction, rather than for a separate ATM withdrawal.
Use ATMs wisely and sparingly
Plan your cash withdrawals wisely. If you withdraw large amounts less frequently from ATMs, you'll incur less charges.
Make sure you have sufficient funds to cover withdrawals
Always ensure you have sufficient cleared funds in your account to cover all your withdrawals. Doing so means you'll avoid paying a fee for insufficient funds.
